Hello friends! As you may know, a healthy lifestyle is one of the most important things to me. I love to eat healthy, and it makes me feel good to do so (both physically and emotionally). My food related posts seem to get a lot of action, and let’s face it, eating is one of the greatest joys of life.
On the other hand, I’m also a junk food junkie at heart. The bad stuff just tastes SO damn good.
Hello friends, and thank you for taking the time to visit my blog! I’m so happy and thankful you’re here. Truly.
Thanksgiving is this week, which means most of us will be taking some time to pig out on delicious food, watch football and/or the Macy’s parade, and thank God, or the universe, or our family and friends, or the mailman, or our dog, or whoever else we choose for our blessings.
I wanted to take some time here to get a bit personal, and give the world a big fat THANK YOU for all it has blessed me with thus far in my life. Below are the ten things I’m most thankful for at the moment. It would mean so much to me if you’d share the things you’re most grateful for too!
Hello friends! It’s that time of year again. Christmas season! So, as the title of this post suggests, I wanted to take some time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Obviously Christmas is a religious holiday, so its religious meaning is of utmost significance. I do not wish to downplay that in any way, but not being raised overtly religious, I will not pretend to have significant knowledge on that subject. Though I believe in God, I do consider myself to be a more spiritual than religious person.
For that reason I would like to focus here on the “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” version of the meaning of Christmas rather than the Charlie Brown version, though both share many similarities and are of equal importance.
Hello everyone, and my apologies for the delay in releasing this next blog post. It’s been too long! I can only hope that you actually noticed, and were patiently awaiting my next piece (lol!)
Anywho, today’s post is all about appreciation. And I hope you know that whoever you are, or however many or few people read this, I appreciate each and every one of you for doing so. Yesterday was a pretty hard and also eye opening day for me, and that’s why I am taking the time to make this post about appreciation. To appreciate the blessings we have is something that we all need to take more time to do every single day.
Good evening everyone! If you’re around my terrifyingly-close-to-30 age, you’ve probably felt the pressures of what society seems to all out expect of you at this point in your life in terms of marriage, children, and your career. Worse, you’ve probably felt even more pressure from yourself in regards to these same topics. How does one woman balance all three, and what if you’re not on the same timeline as everyone else? What if these aren’t your priorities at all? And then there’s making time for your other responsibilities, friendships, hobbies, traveling, etc. on top of everything else. Pull my hair out! “Adulting” is indeed very hard.
When talking about topics such as these I do always feel the need to throw in an acknowledgment that these are “first world problems.” Alas, and thankfully, we do live in the first world, and I know this is the hottest topic of late between my girlfriends and I so I wanted to share my thoughts on it with you, as well as some methodologies I use for coping with the pressure. Enjoy!
SPOILER ALERT: IT ACTUALLY WORKS & IS SUPER AFFORDABLE
Hello everyone! So if you know me, you know that I have been ostracized from society for being a widely feared and vastly misunderstood “Health Nut.” I’m one of those crazy earthlings who actually wants to be able to comprehend the ingredient labels on the products I use and consume. How dare I! The horror!
